La Rochelière - Bed and Breakfast in Vouvray (Indre et Loire)  The red cross indicates the exact location of the accommodation (if known):  Near the church, La Rocheli?re is a traditional 1800's residence. It proposes, downwards remarkable staircases opening on the principal court, a superb "dependance" which shelters a charming Bed and Breakfast with 4 rooms. The new troglodyte room "La Cave" is "in the rock" with an entrance from the terrace of the main building. The rooms have each a bathroom with WC. A living-room is entirely dedicated to the guests. The private swimming pool of the owners is also at disposal.  Activities and attractions nearby: The village of Vouvray is located in the heart of the Loire Valley, surrounded by famous AOC Vouvray wineyards and the most prestigious castles of France like Chenonceau, Villandry... The region has a long history with famous places like Clos du Luc? in the small town of Amboise, known as the last home of Leonardo da Vinci.  How to come: The village of Vouvray is located at 9km of Tours, 230km of Paris. By car: From Paris, take the highway A10 in direction of Bordeaux. Just before Tours, take the exit number 20 (Saumur, Blois, Vouvray). Continue on the N52 in direction of Vouvray. Change for the N152, direction Rochecorbon-Vouvray. In Vouvray, go to the church, La Rocheli?re's gate is the blue one just at the right side. By railways: From Paris Montparnasse and the international airport of Charles de Gaulle, as well as from Lille Europe (Eurostar connexion to London Waterloo) you can join the station of Saint-Pierre des Corps by the TGV fast train (55 minutes from Paris, 1h25 from the airport, 3h from Lille). Saint-Pierre des Corps is located at 8km of La Rocheli?re and you will find there taxis and a car rental office. You can also join the Tours railway station. The city busses of Tours come to Vouvray's village (lign 61). By airways: You can land directly to Tours airport from London (Ryanair) or Lyon. For more air connexions, you can use the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris and the TGV.
